Norway's local newspapers gathered in Voss in April. Two days of talks and debate during the day, and an anniversary party with bunads, speeches and live music in the evening. At the centre of it all was the awards ceremony, celebrating the year's best local journalism.
Thanks to Geir at LLA for the trust and the assignment!
People, not set design.
At an event, the people are the pictures. We worked discreetly in the hall and up close by the stage, the photo wall and the award winners, so no important moment was missed. A crowd that makes a living telling other people's stories got their own story told.
Delivered for web, print and big screen.
The images were delivered in versions for both web and print. Along the way we also edited a film and a slideshow from the event, so the conference could see itself before it was over.
