In April we headed to the Pyrenees. Down in the valley, spring had arrived, with bright green beech forest and rivers full of meltwater. Higher up, winter was still hanging on. That gave us the whole season in one trip, and room to show the collection in everything from an easy mountain hike to rope and helmet on the ridge.
Early starts. Long walks.
The best mountain images rarely come for free. We were in place before sunrise and stayed until the light was gone, with models and crew on the same slopes. Photo and film were shot in the same run, so the campaign holds together across every channel.
The mountain in motion.
Some things film tells better than stills: the wind grabbing the jacket, spindrift over the ridge, footsteps in crusted snow. We filmed up close and followed the models where they actually walked, so the garments get to show what they can take – not just how they look.
One look. Several collections.
The production covered several of Helly Hansen's lines for autumn and winter 2026, each with its own mood and purpose. Everything was delivered as one coherent visual universe, ready for the online store, campaigns and social media.
